Delicious stir fried, known as edible-podded China peas or sugar peas. Tender four inch pods are crisp and juicy. Can be used like snap beans. Wilt tolerant. Grows 4-4 1/2 ft tall!
(OP) 65 days. Proven tops for performance, flavor and wide adaptability. Vigorous 24-30”H plants bear large, thick, tender, extra sweet 4-5”L light green pods frequently setting in doubles. Bush plants are high yielding and stay compact. No staking needed. Tender pods cook up sweet and crunchy. Freezes well, with no loss of color or flavor. Non climbing, 2’L dwarf vines (NOT a bush) produce an abundant harvest of 2 ½”L, crisp medium-green pods with a sweet, vivacious flavor. Great raw as a snack, in salads or used in stir-fries. 62 days. Fleshy 3" pods are full and plump. Both pea and pod are sweet and bear over a long picking period. 60" tall vines should be supported.
