DESCRIPTION

Larger, longer ears than standard strawberry popcorn making for a good pack out. Husk colors are a mixture of beige, burgundy, reds, and streaked. 5-6' stalk height with good standability. Fantastic yields. Plant seeds 1" deep in most soils; 6-8" apart in the row: and at least 30" apart between the rows. Plant in blocks of 4 rows or more for good pollination. Plant when soil temperatures are 60 degrees F or above. Fertilize well. Harvest when husks are dried.

CLASSIFICATIONS
OPEN POLLINATED

Pollination occurs by insect, bird, wind, humans, or other natural mechanisms. Because there are no restrictions on the flow of pollen between individuals, open-pollinated plants are more genetically diverse. However, as long as pollen is not shared between different varieties within the same species, then the seed produced will remain true-to-type year after year.
