DESCRIPTION
One of the best early snap peas and easy-to-grow! Non-climbing, 2'L dwarf vines (NOT a bush) produce an abundant harvest of 2½"L crisp medium-green pods with a sweet, vivacious flavor. Do NOT tolerate hot weather. Excellent choice for smaller garden spaces and containers. Delicious raw as a snack, in salads, steamed or used in stir-fries. Superb freezing variety. Popular with commercial and fresh market growers and home gardeners.
CLASSIFICATIONS
OPEN POLLINATED
Pollination occurs by insect, bird, wind, humans, or other natural mechanisms. Because there are no restrictions on the flow of pollen between individuals, open-pollinated plants are more genetically diverse. However, as long as pollen is not shared between different varieties within the same species, then the seed produced will remain true-to-type year after year.
