Bold, beautiful mix of 4- 6" flowers in warm shades of yellow, orange, bronze, purple, and bicolor on 5- 8' tall multi-branched plants. Easy to grow and blooms from late summer all the way into fall. Heat and drought tolerant. Attracts pollinators, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Provides lots of oil-rich seeds for birds. Excellent choice for cut flowers. Plants should be 10" apart after thinning.
Pollination occurs by insect, bird, wind, humans, or other natural mechanisms. Because there are no restrictions on the flow of pollen between individuals, open-pollinated plants are more genetically diverse. However, as long as pollen is not shared between different varieties within the same species, then the seed produced will remain true-to-type year after year.
